Trade Assistants – Mig Welding
Vehicle Accessories

The workshop is in the Campbellfield area and is a leading Australian Manufacturer of Vehicle Accessories.

The requirement is for several Skilled TA that can carry out a wide range of duties, including Basic Mig Welding and Assembly.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the successful Trades Assistants will work within different areas across the workshop floor, including Bullbars, Side Steps and Chair Ramps

Duties of these positions will include:
  • The use of hand and power tools
  • Cutting and Gridding Steel
  • Basis Mig Welding
  • Have the ability to assemble and dis-assemble mechanical componentry, fitting lights, electrics components to new vehicles
It is beneficial that the successful candidate has the following.
  • Relevant experience with the steel fabrication sector
  • Hold an understanding of basic welding and manufacturing processes.
  • Ideally have a basic understanding of automotive electrical systems.
  • Have the ability to learn our clients' correct procedures & processes
  • Good working knowledge of OS&H
  • Hold a mechanical aptitude.
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
  • Reference contact details of two past employers
  • Located already in Melbourne Victoria.
  • Have the correct right to work in Australia
Given the nature of this position, at this stage, we can only review candidates that hold suitable experience with the steel fabrication and or Industrial Equipment sectors. 

However, full training will be provided for this position.
